Dr. Kim Stapleton

Dr. Kim Stapleton is an Ivy League trained orthodontist who is dedicated to creating life-changing smiles.

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Immediately following dental school, she continued her post-doctorate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a rigorous two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics where she had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment planning of all types of malocclusions. Dr. Stapleton has received numerous honors and awards including induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society.
The focus of Dr. Stapleton’s orthodontic philosophy is the patient as a person. She takes into account not only their teeth but also their self-confidence and overall physical health and well-being. She treats using the most conservative approaches and incorporates the latest orthodontic technology before considering extractions or surgical interventions. Dr. Stapleton enjoys working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to treat her patients’ needs. She formulates sound treatment plans centered on evidence-based best practices and strives to deliver the highest quality of care to her patients. Dr. Stapleton is passionate about orthodontics and is committed to giving her patients more reasons to smile.
Dr. Stapleton is an active member of many orthodontic organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO).
She is also an avid foodie, a party-planning enthusiast, and a loving mother to two daughters, Payton and Harper.
