Nigel Grandison, DDS

Dr. Grandison is passionate about pediatric dentistry and helping your child’s smile grow. Parents who take their kids to either the Pembroke Pines, Florida or Plantation, Florida locations have lovingly referred to him as the “best dentist ever.” Dr. Grandison welcomes your family to his pediatric practice.

Originally from Jamaica, Dr. Grandison attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree. Dr. Grandison then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut.

Once he finished his formal education, Dr. Grandison went on to complete his general practice residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. After this time, he moved again to attend the prestigious University of Pittsburgh and serve at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to complete his pediatric dental residency. His stellar performance awarded him the position of chief resident for one year.
Dr. Grandison has been practicing pediatric dentistry in south Florida for almost 20 years. He’s licensed in dentistry by the state of Florida and holds a certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He has extensive experience performing pediatric dentistry for young patients under general anesthesia in a hospital setting.

As a well-practiced provider, Dr. Grandison keeps on his toes as a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a member of the Dade County Dental Society. He also has an affiliation with the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
Dr. Grandison stays busy with his pediatric dentistry patients, but he still makes time for the things he loves: racquetball, soccer, and spending time with his wife and two children.
